It was love from the first sight. When Georgia saw our Blossom Trees nine months before her wedding she decided that’s exactly what she wants. She came all way down from Whitby to our showroom outside Ludlow to meet us and discuss everything she needed. We were all very excited to this early spring wedding. And it was one of the most beautiful weddings indeed. Kept in the ivory and nude colour scheme, filled with orchids and white blossom.
Our lovely bride looked divine in her beautiful dress came from Ava Rose Hamilton. The cascading White Orchid bridal bouquet with touches of pearl was designed by Chillie Breeze. For Mother of the Bride we created a bespoke corsage.
The ceremony has been hold in St Hilda’s Church in Whitby. In the morning of the wedding day our Chillie Breeze team dressed the church with bespoke faux flower garlands and blossom letters G and L. Up the Aisle we installed our amazing Blossom Trees with lights and crystals to create a romantic pathway for our lovely couple. Beautiful garlands were also installed for the altar entrance and we prepared a special surprise for Georgia and Luke by decorating the font with blossom. The church looked amazing! Talented pianist and singer Nicki Allan sang during the ceremony.
Georgia & Luke have chosen the Gisborough Hall for their wedding breakfast. The reception drinks were served in the beautiful conservatory, where we put glass cylindrical vases with floating candles. As the centrepieces we used our Table Blossom Trees with crystals and lights. Georgia made herself the stationery and fabulous table names using acrylic badges with handwritten names. Chillie Breeze created a Blossom Frame for a mirror to stick the table plan on and we hung the table names from the each centrepiece tree. Together we created personalised and effective design.
After guests found their seats and gathered in the room, show girls brought mother and father of a bride and groom, bridesmaids and ushers. The party slowly started and first couples appeared on the dance floor while waiting for a bride and groom to arrive. Then newly-weds came down the stairs and started their first dance. The party was great! Aaron Bayley band made sure everyone had a great party and Jerome Remblance kept a fantastic mood for all night long, singing and entertaining all guests.
The wedding cake was magnificent. It was made by Jane Harland, a local lady who made every birthday cake Georgia ever had. With touches of orchids and blossom, our designed orchid & pearl garland and selection of different tea lights the cake table looked truly beautiful.
Everyone made comments that our set up is the best they have ever seen. The trees with lights and crystals looked amazingly magical. Floral garlands for the staircase added an extra luxury touch to the whole room, which is massive and breath-taking itself.
Georgia: “My favourite memory is arriving at church and turning the corner for the alter and I saw Luke straight away and I couldn’t stop smiling, then I saw some of my friends in the pews and I didn’t mean to or realise but I kept waving at them as I saw them, while I’m smiling and waving like I’m in the Disney parade! I see my first tree and squeel to my dad: eekk dad look at my trees, look how lovely they are! When I turned to him for his reply that’s when I realised he was sobbing his way down the aisle.”
It was a beautiful wedding day for the amazing couple.
